James Carsele, Jr., 91 of Ellwood City passed away at his residence on Wednesday, March 20, 2019
Born in Ellwood City on December 5, 1927, James was the son of the late, James and Esther Barile Carsele.
James is survived by his wife, the former Mary Del Bovorlando whom he married on January 27, 1951. James retired after 32 years as an agent with Western & Southern Life Insurance Company. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish and a veteran of the US Navy serving during World War II. James enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Besides his wife, Mary Carsele at home James is survived by his 3 children, James (Toni) Carsele, III of Chicago, Linda (Albert) Seaburn of Ellwood City, Karen (Tom) Browne of Myrtle Beach, SC, 2 sisters, Elizabeth (John) Biondi of Ellwood City, Sr. Mary Esther Carsele of Philadelphia, a brother, Douglas Carsele of Ellwood City, a sister-in-law, Kathy Carsele of Ellport, 6 grandchildren, Erin Fironi, Christopher Seaburn, Kevin Carsele, Brian Seaburn, Brooke Seaburn and Derek McClymonds and 5 great grandchildren, Julianna Fironi, Bentley Seaburn, Gabrielle Seaburn, Elyse Fironi and Cole Seaburn.
James was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Dennis Carsele, 3 brothers, Jack, Donald and Eugene Carsele and 2 sisters, Rosemarie Fotia and Lucy Ann Carsele.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport of Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 10 AM by Fr. Mark L. Thomas. Entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
