James L. McQuiston, 59

James L. McQuiston, 59, formerly of Enon Valley passed away at his residence in Ellwood City on Monday, March 4, 2019.
Jim was born on November 19, 1959 in Ellwood City to Leroy McQuiston and the late Bertha (Miller) McQuiston. He had worked as a truck driver for Aiken Refuge and later for Valley Waste Service Inc. He attended the Lillyville Church of God, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, and German Shepherds.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Leroy (Beverly) McQuiston of Muellers Inlet, SC, his daughters, Elizabeth N. (Pete) Grossman of North Sewickley twp. and Kyleigh (Matt) Hiles of East Palestine, OH, his grandchildren, Andrew and Natalie Grossman, Shawn, Christian, and Alyssa Hiles, his sister, Pamella (Glenn) Spooner of Ellwood City, and his brothers, Timothy McQuiston of Cranberry Twp. and Randy (Jody) McQuiston of Syratoga Springs, NY.
He was preceded in death by his mother, his former wife, Lisa Ann (Hazen) McQuiston, and his son, Michael James McQuiston in infancy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 pm until the time of the Service at 4:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral home Inc. and Cremation Services with Rev. Dennis Arndt officiating.
Memorial contributions in Jim’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Association.
