Joseph M. Tesone, 72

Mr. Joseph M. Tesone, 72, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Tesone was born on February 16, 1947 in Ellwood City to the late Giuseppe “Joseph” and Concetta “Mae” (Pratt) Tesone. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1964 and the Holy Redeemer Parish. Joe also graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in Accounting. Joe worked as a journeyman carpenter through the Local 922. He belonged to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, the Sons of Italy Lodge 608, and the Ellwood City Saxons Club. He enjoyed cooking and working on projects around his home.

Joe is survived by his wife, Maureen (Sullivan) Tesone whom he married on June 4, 1988, his sons, Joseph J. Tesone and his fiancé Sarah Drysdale of Chippewa Twp. and Michael (Maggie) Tesone of Pittsburgh, his sister-in-law, Mary Mae Tesone of California, and his nephew, Vincent (Wesley) Meniece of Ellwood City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister and brother-in-law, Michaelena “Lena” and Jack Meniece, and his brother, Vincent “Jake” Tesone.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 pm until the time of the Blessing Service at 6:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Father Mark Thomas officiating.
