Upcoming Relay For Life Events

The local Ellwood City Relay For Life has announced two exciting events happening later in March.  Committee meeting details are also made available to the public as the committee seeks to spread the word about the Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society right here in our home town.

Relay For Life Event Leadership Meeting

Please join us for our next meeting of Ellwood City Relay For Life on Tuesday, March 12th at 6:00 pm. We will be meeting at the Moose, 1400 Factory Avenue. Plans will continue for our 2019 Carnival For A Cure on Lawrence Avenue again, Saturday, May 18th from 3:00 to 9:00 pm. Volunteers are needed for the Kid zone, tent set-up and area set-up, luminaries and general Relay information. If you would like to help or serve on a committee come to the meeting.

Battle of the Bartenders

It is back, an evening of Relay teams battling behind the bar to raise money for Ellwood City Relay For Life. On Friday, March 22, 2019, Main Street Grille, 708 Lawrence Avenue, downtown Ellwood City, is hosting this battle from 9:00 P.M. – 1:00 A.M. Along with a donation cover charge at the door there will be drink specials, taco bar, a DJ, special guest, basket raffle and giveaways.

Casino Bus Trip to Presque Isle

Team Circle of Friends is going to Presque Isle in Erie to play at the casino on Saturday, March 30, 2019. The group will depart from the Ellwood City Hospital via bus at 7:30 am and return at 5:30 pm, during the ride there will be fun, games, 50/50, prizes, snacks and drinks. The cost is $40.00 which includes a $30.00 slot play. Seating is limited to 56, so reserve your spot!
