Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week of February 18

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities.  Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

Activities taking place this week include:

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 18

The Ellwood City Area Public Library will be closed in observance of President’s Day. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, February 19.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19

1:30 p.m. – “Afternoon Book Group for Adults,” they will be discussing the book “Walk Me Home” by Catherine Ryan Hyde.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20

10:00 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. It is designed to help reduce the stresses of everyday life. All adults are welcome.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 21

3:00 p.m. – “Food for Thought Book Group,” the group will be discussing the book “The Cruel Prince” by Holly Black.

6:00 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” which meets weekly to work on individual projects. New members are welcome.

SAVE THE DATE

Baby Lap Time, Family Lap Time and Preschool Story Time will be starting again in March. Please call the Library for more information. Children must be registered for these programs.

The Library will host a children’s program for St. Patrick’s Day March 13th at 6:30. At the program “How to Catch a Leprechaun,” children will hear a story, play some games and build a trap to catch a Leprechaun if he comes to your house! This program is for kids under 10 and they must be accompanied by a parent.

Tickets for the upcoming local performance of the Tamburitzans will be available on Friday, March 15th from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m

A program for veterans will be at the Ellwood City Area Public Library, 415 Lawrence Ave. at 6:30 p.m. March 19th.
