Ellwood City students will have the chance to purchase their student tickets, and adult tickets, during school from now until Friday at noon.
The big rivalry game between Ellwood City and Riverside will be at Lincoln High School on Friday, February 8 with the varsity game tip off at 7:30 p.m. The game will be Ellwood’s senior night as well as a candlelight vigil for Kait Francis.
Tickets will be on sale for $2.00 for a student ticket and $5.00 for adult tickets. It is important to note that there will not be student tickets sold at the doors on Friday. Tickets are also specific for each schools student section, and students must sit within the designated section that their ticket states.
Students are reminded to wear the shirts they purchased in honor of Kait to the game, or if they did not get the chance to purchase on, to please wear yellow. Between the two schools over 700 shirts were sold as part of recent fundraisers efforts by two seniors at each district. There will be a link released to the online store to purchase a shirt within the coming weeks.
Bracelets will be sold in honor of Kait at the game, costing $10 each with all proceeds going to the Francis family as well as the Caring Place. Donations will also be collected at the game.
The Wolverines will be looking to defend homecourt and collect a rivalry victory Friday to avenge an earlier defeat at Riverside in January [READ MORE]
