Ida J. Ionellie, 80 of Ellwood City passed away at UPMC Presbyterian on Sunday, December 23, 2018.
Born in Ellwood City on June 11, 1938, Ida was the daughter of the late John R. and Antonella Morella Pratt. Ida is survived by her husband, Joseph Ionellie, whom she married on June 24, 1967. Ida owned and operated Ida’s Luncheonette in Ellwood in the late 60’s and early 70’s. She also had worked at Folino’s Pharmacy and Rite Aid. Ida was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish. She had coached Little Angles Softball in Ellwood and served on the reunion committee for the Lincoln High School Class of 1956.
Enjoying the time she spent with her daughter and grandchildren, Ida is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Edward Pasquale of McMurray, her 4 grandchildren, Gerry, Ysabella, Eddie and Dominick Pasquale and a brother, John R. Pratt of Ellwood City.
Besides her parents, Ida was preceded in death by a brother, Donald J. Pratt.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM. A Blessing Service will be offered at 4PM by Fr. Mark L. Thomas.
