Anna Sheeler, 97, of Ellport, passed away at Beaver Valley Health and Rehab Center on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 3:00 PM.
Born in Ellport on April 7, 1921, Anna was the daughter of the late Gabriel Harry and Antonia “Baba” Repela Kiddon. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Sheeler on March 3, 2005. They were married on September 23, 1939. Anna was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish and its Christian Mothers. She was a member of the After Prom Committee and a founding member of the Ellport Booster Club where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for over 50 years.
Anna is survived by her 3 children, Joseph P. “Butch” Sheeler of Ellport, JoAnn P. and Ken Mohr of Struthers, OH and Harry J. “Pete” and Peggy Sheeler of Ellwood City, 8 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren, 3 sisters; Joyce Pratt, Vera Pelligrina, Pearl Tablack and a brother, Stephen Kiddon all of Youngstown, OH.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Anna was preceded in death by a son, Michael M. Sheeler, a brother, Michael Kiddon and 2 sisters, Mary Liposky and Olga Biles.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport, on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:00 AM by Fr. Mark L. Thomas. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the Church on Saturday at 9:45 AM to form the Honor Guard.
