Brant E. “Bud” Buchanan, Jr. 48, of Wayne Township, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at his residence.
Bud was born on June 19, 1970 in Ellwood City to Brant E. and Dollie (McQuiston) Buchanan.
He is a member of the Riverside High School class of 1988. After high school, Bud worked for the Laborers Local Union #964 and most recently was the owner and operator of Buchanan Excavating and Concrete.
As an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, turkey shoots, and spending time with his dog Piper and his ponies. Bud lived life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face.
He is survived by his mother Dollie Buchanan of Fombell, his wife Tina (Guy) Buchanan, his daughter Kayla Bokor and son Joseph Bokor both of Ellwood City, his sister Gwendolyn Buchanan of Beaver Falls, and his mother and father-in-law Harvey and Fumiko Guy of Wayne Township.
He was preceded in death by his father, Brant E. Buchanan, Sr.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Saturday from 10-11 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.
A Service for Bud will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Arndt of the Lillyville Church of God officiating. Interment will be at the Slippery Rock Cemetery.
Memorial Donations in Bud’s name may be made to the Hodgkin Lymphoma Society.
