The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.
Activities taking place this week include:
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27
1:30 p.m. – “Afternoon Book Discussion Group for Adults,” the group will discuss the book, “A Piece of the World” by Kristina Baker Kline.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28
10:00 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. It is designed to help reduce stresses of everyday life. All adults are welcome.
6:00 p.m. – “Movie Night for Adults,” featuring new-to-DVD films and refreshments. These monthly events are free and open to all area adults. Call the library for more information or to discover the title of the film to be shown.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29
6:00 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” which meets weekly to work on individual projects. New members are welcome.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1
10:00 a.m. – “Silly Science and Lego Day,” featuring fun and silly science experiments, robotics and Lego building. This monthly program is designed for children in kindergarten through 6th grade. No registration is required.
Noon – “20 Something Book Group,” this week they will be discussing the book “The City of Lost Fortunes” written by Bryan Camp.
