Leona S. Zeigler, 88 of North Sewickley Township passed away at her residence on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.
Born in Ellwood City on May 21, 1930, Leona was the daughter of the late Carl and Lena Burr Main. Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Zeigler on June 26, 2010. They were married on September 10, 1949.
Leona is survived by her 4 children, Harriet and David Stephenson of Ellport, Judy and Wayne Hall of North Sewickley Twp., Charles and Michele Zeigler of North Sewickley Twp. and Harry and Lisa Zeigler of Perry Twp., a sister, Carolyn Smith of Beaver Falls, 10 grandchildren, Deanna and Kelly Stephenson, Wayne, Travis, Colei and Tyrel Hall, Aaron and Hillary Zeigler, Tyler, Trevor and Cameron Zeigler and 6 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Leona was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Zeigler, 2 brothers, Bidwell and Madison Main and 4 sisters, Ethel Streckeisen, Nina Freed, Madelyn Majors and Emma Druschel.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
A Funeral Service for Leona will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11 AM with Pastor Phil Conklin of the 1st Church of God, Ellwood City. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
