Mrs. Helen Kuczmarski, 98, formerly of Perry Twp. passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at her residence in Huntington, West Virginia.
Helen was born on February 2, 1920 in New Castle to the late Samuel and Amelia (Miskura) Januszkiewicz.
She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1938, and the Christian Buhl Nursing School in Sharon in 1941.
For many years she worked as a registered nurse at the Babcock & Wilcox Steel Mill in Beaver Falls and Koppel, and at the U.S. Steel Tube Mill in Ellwood City.
She enjoyed taking care of stray cats and injured birds.
Mrs. Kuczmarski is survived by her son, John Kuczmarski of Rochester, NY, her brother, Joseph Januszkiewucz of State College,Pa, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Kuczmarski whom she married on October 15, 1949 and passed away on December 2, 1968, and her brothers, Walter and Stanley Januszkiewicz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services from 9:00 am until the time of the Blessing Service at 10:30 am with Father Mark Thomas officiating.
Interment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
