  • September 10 – Annual “Picnic” in Ewing Park, 6pm at shelter # 8 Guest Speaker: Mother Christophera – Orthodox Monastery
  • October 8 – Dr Robert Jones, guest speaker

NOTE: The History Center is open: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Noon to 4:00pm). The First Saturday of each month 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Annual Picnic: Menu prepared by Nico’s – chicken, pork, pasta, salad, potatoes, beans, bread, and drinks. Utensils for dining furnished. Price per person -$ 12.50.

30 year Anniversary (1988 -2018): we had a “Come Home to Ellwood City” display at the AFS Hobby Show. Thanks to Frank Condell for the amazing electric sign, “Ellwood City,” a hit at the Festival. Look for, “Grandma’s Attic”, a display of our collection of artifacts in the Oswald windows (5th & Lawrence Ave)

Memory Gift: Remember the life of a beloved family member or a special friend by making a Memory gift to the Historical Society. It is a way to celebrate and commemorate the life, birthday, anniversary of someone you may also want to say Thank You. All donations or gifts are tax deductible.
