Samuel J. Dicianno, 77

Samuel J. Dicianno, 77, of Wampum passed away at the VA Community Center in Butler on Sunday, July 22, 2018.

Born in New Castle on August 20, 1940, Samuel was the son of the late Julius “Juke” and Antionette “Truny” Scala Dicianno.  Sam retired from B&W where he worked as a ladleman in the melt shop.  Sam was a Veteran of the United States Army.  He enjoyed fishing and boating on Lake Erie with his friends.

Sam is survived by his girlfriend, Wanda Schneider, of Wampum, his two children; Paul R. Dicianno of Henderson, Nevada, and Tracey L. Dicianno of Wampum, two grandchildren; Paula Dicianno and Shawn Hardesty, Jr., one great-granddaughter; Farrah Bevington, and a brother; Julius “Goog” Dicianno of New Castle.

In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Chelsee Bevington.

Interment will be at the Clinton Cemetery.

There were no services, as per Sam’s wishes.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport, Pennsylvania.
