OLD PHOTO FRIDAY: Blood Donor Honor Roll

Photo taken on February 6, 1976; Members of the Rexnord Union Local 2263 donated the two blood donor honor rolls that were hanging in the clock office of Rexnord to Mrs. Frances Fox, secretary of the Ellwood City Branch, Lawrence County Chapter of the American Red Cross in her office in the municipal building. Standing from the left and the amount of blood they have donated, are: Anthony Yanniello, six gallions; Gene Hartzel and Jim Sneed, both five gallons; Henry Bacchichi, who served as chairman of the blood donor committee for the union has given five gallons; and Jerry Keefer, six gallons.

Do you happen to know any of these people or do you remember seeing these “Blood Donor Honor Rolls?” Have you ever donated blood to the American Red Cross? If so how much, what was your experience like? Please share, like and comment your memories with us, your family and friends!
