Lois M. Bennett, 79, of Fombell passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Cranberry Place in Cranberry Twp..
Lois was born on October 6, 1938 in Ellwood City to the late Frances and Margaret (Daufen) Smith. She had graduated from the Zelienople High School with the class of 1957. Lois had worked at the Lark Motel for 18 years as a custodian. She is a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ellwood City. Lois also is a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary in New Castle, and enjoyed bowling with the Turner’s Bowling League at Sim’s Bowling Lanes and the former Park Lanes.
She is survived by her sons, Larry J. (Jill) Bennett and Kenneth E. (Tammy) Bennett both of Fombell, her grandchildren, Daniel (Jessica) Bennett, Lizabeth Bennett, Sam Bennett, Garrett Bennett, Cody Bennett, and Dylan Bennett, and her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Layla, and Owen. She is also survived by her sister, Ethel (Frank) Aquino of Ellwood City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Edward and John Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 pm and on Tuesday from 10-11 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. Services for Lois will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Bob Neigel officiating. Interment will follow at the St, Marks Cemetery.
