NEW BEAVER, PA. – State Rep. Aaron Bernstine was certified today as the winner of both Republican and Democratic nominations to represent State House District 10 in Harrisburg. The district includes portions of Beaver, Butler, and Lawrence counties.
Bernstine, elected as a Republican in 2016, was nominated for a second term by his party during the May 15th primary, earning 97% of the vote. He secured the Democratic nomination as well by winning a write-in campaign, earning 55% of the vote against Beaver Falls resident Joseph McGurk.
“It is an honor to receive the nomination of both the Republican and Democratic parties for the 2018 election. The hard-working people in our district voted to continue finding real solutions to problems, and rejected typical partisan bickering. I pledge that I will continue challenging the establishment of both parties on egregious spending and taxes, and ensure that we are focused on creating and maintaining great jobs for the families in our area,” Bernstine said
