Spring is a season full of birds singing, bees buzzing and people falling madly in love. The butterflies in your stomach and pounding heart are part of a euphoric high that anyone can get from love at first sight.
Scientists have shown that your brain in love actually looks different than normal brain activity. While there isn’t any scientific backing to the theory that spring is mating season for humans there’s a reason the phrase “spring fever.” According to relationship experts, spring is still for humans what it is for animals: a time to get out there and meet potential mates. There are five couples who have decided to tie the knot this spring, and four couples who have decided to go separate ways to find new love.
