Dan C. Coulter, 57

Dan C. Coulter, 57, of Ellwood City, passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 19th following a five-year battle with colon cancer.

Born in Ellwood City on July 14, 1960 Dan is the son of James Coulter of Boyers, PA and the late Beverly Grossman Coulter.  Dan married the former Paula Osborne on July 18, 1998.  A 1977 graduate of Lincoln High School, Dan retired after 32 years from the Heavy and Highway Union Local 2274 where he built bridges.  He enjoyed being outdoors where he usually was in his free time.  Dan also loved to hunt and fish.

In addition to his father and his wife, Dan is survived by his step-mother, Martha Counter, his three children; Mitch Coulter of Eastbrook, PA, Luke Osborne of Edinboro, PA and Jacob Coulter of Ellwood City, three grandchildren; Shaylynn Coulter, Ally Coulter and Jaxon Coulter, all of Ellwood City, two sisters, Janice (Kevin) Hoffmeier of West Pittsburg and Wendy Booher of Ellwood City and three brothers; Jack (Carmel) Coulter of New Galilee, Jim Coulter of Oil City and Sonny Coulter of Tennessee.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 25th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
