NOTE: Monday, May 14 at 7:00 pm. ECAHS presents the annual Robert and Janice Barensfeld scholarship program. The scholarship award program began in 1999 and has awarded two scholarships of $1500.00 each to a Lincoln High School and Riverside High School graduating senior.
30 YEAR Anniversary The Historical Society on May 9, 1988 held the First Annual Banquet at Calvin Presbyterian Church. A program was presented by the New Castle Historical Society, “ Fashion through the years.” The society has been decorating the former Oswald store windows located at fifth and Lawrence avenue with a theme of “Grandma’s Attic.”
