Riverside High School Junior/Senior Prom and After-Prom

Riverside High School will celebrate their Junior Senior prom on Friday, May 11. The prom will take place at Shakespeare’s following the coronation ceremony. Students also have the option to participate in the after prom festivities that will take place at Shakespeare’s from Midnight to 5 am.

Parents, family and friends are invited to view the coronation of the prom king and prom queen in the auditorium. Tickets are available for purchase starting April 30, in room 208 of the high school. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door the night of prom. There are space limitations, seating will be first come first serve and only ticket holders will be admitted to the auditorium. Tickets cost $5 and there will be free seating available in the gymnasium for those who do not have tickets. All ticket sale proceeds go to after prom.

Students must attend school Friday, May 11. Students who fail to attend school will not be able to attend prom, students with excessive absences may forfeit their privilege of attending prom.

Following the coronation ceremony, students will take a group photo in the Kindergarten playground. Transportation to the Prom will be by private cars. All students will report directly from Riverside High School to Shakespeare’s following the Grand March and group photo. Vehicles will caravan between police escorts.

After-prom will be held immediately following the Prom and will end at 5:00AM, May 12 Students attending the After-Prom are subject to the same rules and attendance regulations that apply the Prom.

Help is still being accepted for the After-Prom. Contact Raylene Boots at the school for more information. After-Prom has met their goal for donations and baskets, but more will be accepted. After-Prom is recruiting help to clean up at 5 am. Most chaperones spots are filled from midnight to 5 am, but call if you are interested.
