Pictured from the left is Nick Frisk, union president; Pete Pietrandrea, sub-district director; and Samuel R. Tooch Jr., second president of the local who was elected in June 1938.
The United Steel Workers Local 1220 the wage employees union of the non-defunct U.S. Steel plant In Ellwood City Ceased operations October 31, 1975 at the office on 724 Lawrence Ave, after being located at the sight for 35 years.
