Mrs. Emma M. Latiano, 103, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Ellwood City Hospital.
Mrs. Latiano was born on December 5, 1914 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph and Amelia Mangelli DeTullio. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1932, and the Holy Redeemer Parish. Emma had worked for the Ellwood City Ledger from 1944 until 1961 as a linotype operator. She is also a past member of the Sons of Italy and the Corona D’ Italia.
Mrs. Latiano is survived by her step-son James W. (Adele) Latiano of Malvern, Pa, her grandchildren Johnathan, Michael, and Lisa Latiano, her sisters Thelma Morgan and Ann Tammaro both of Ellwood City, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years Edward V. Latiano, her step-son Michael Latiano, her sisters Frances Ippolito, Antoinette Paglia, and Theresa Masi, and her brothers Dan DeTullio and Fred DeTullio.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Entombment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Resurrection Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Latiano’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund.
