Keaira Cunningham, 16, of Deemer Avenue, Ellport passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Ellwood City Medical Center.
Born in Brighton Township on May 22, 2001 Keaira was the daughter of Dana Locke of New Castle and the late Alan B. Cunningham. Keaira was junior at Lincoln High School and a member of the History Club. She was also a former member of Drama Club and Choir. She worked at the Ellwood City Medical Center in the dietary department. A member of 1st Church of God in Franklin Township, Keaira volunteered in the nursery and children’s church and she was active in their Youth Group as well. Keaira also volunteered for the Carpenter’s Project during the summer.
In addition to her mother, Keaira is survived by her sister, India Cunningham of Ellwood City, her guardians, Connie and Dave Cunningham of Ellport and three cousins, Kayla Cunningham, Briana Williams and Eric Cunningham.
Keaira was preceded in death by her father and a half-brother, Dakota Locke.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 17th at 4:00 PM with Rev. Phil Conklin at the First Church of God in Franklin Township. Interment will take place in Locust Grove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
