Ronald A. Fife, 74

Mr. Ronald A. Fife, 74, of Chewton passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Mr. Fife was born on June 12, 1943 in Ross Twp. to the late Ralph and Edna Jane Schindler Fife, Sr.. He enlisted with the U.S. Army on January 3, 1962 and served for three years with the rank of Private. Ron then worked for the Ellwood City Forge for 35 years as a lathe operator. He is a life member of the V.F.W. , and a 15 year member of the Veterans Honor Guard. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Mr. Fife is survived by his wife Georgia Derrow Fife whom he married on November 12, 1965, his daughters; Carolynn (Nick) Panagiotopoulos of San Bruno, CA, Karen (Andy) Jeannette of Beaver Falls, and Bethann Nye of Chewton, his son; Jeffery (Char) Fife of Ellwood City, his grandchildren; Donovan Nye, Natalie Nye, Kaitlyn Jeannette, Adam Jeanette, Cloee Shirley, and Jonathan Main, and his sisters; Catherine Koah of Texas, Marie Maines of Ellwood City, Violet Wimer of Ellwood City, and Wilma Ritter of Franklin Twp..

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Howard Fife and Ralph “Bucky” Fife, Jr..

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Wednesday from Noon until the time of the service at 1:00 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services with Rev. Phil Conklin officiating. Interment will be at the Grandview Cemetery in Beaver Falls.

Members of the Veterans Honor Guard are asked to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday by 7:20 pm to conduct the Ritual Service and again on Wednesday by 12:50 pm to conduct full military honors.
