“The country is so wounded, bleeding, and hurt right now. The country needs to be healed—it’s not going to be healed from the top, politically. How are we going to heal? Art is the healing force.” ~ Robert Redford, National Arts Policy Roundtable 2012
Come out and support the younger generation of artists in the Ellwood City area at the Renew and Revive Art Show!
At Dayspring Gifts on 6th Street in Ellwood City, from 7-9p.m. not only will you be able to meet the artists and see some of their best work, there will also be complimentary refreshments and food, an art basket raffle, poetry reading, and more.
The art basket contains all the essentials to get an artist started – or add on to a collection – two table top easels, paints, canvases and other art supplies. Tickets will be sold at the event.
Entry is free and open to all ages of the public, but donations are encouraged to help Daysprings host more art shows in the future. Original art will be for sale at the event and is on a first-come first-serve basis.
The artist bios can be found here.
If you cannot make it out tonight, view the flyer below for the alternative dates.
