Arthur J. Mazzei, 47, of Ellwood City went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Allegheny General Hospital following a brief illness.
Arthur was born on July 29, 1970 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph “Lucky” and Connie DeBaise Mazzei, Sr.. He had attended Lincoln High School and graduated from the Lawrence County Vo-Tech where he studied the restaurant trade. He also graduated from the Butler County Community College in 1997 with a major in logistics. Arthur was a self employed owner/operator semi-truck driver for many years. He attended the Holy Redeemer Church. An outdoorsman, Arthur enjoyed being at his camp in Kennerdell, hunting, and fishing. His kind heartedness, generosity, and strong family values will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him.
Arthur is survived by his fiancé Mari Beth Castelli of Ellwood City, his sister Lisa L. (Jeff) Mannion of Gulf Breeze, FL, his brothers Joseph A. Mazzei, Jr. of Beaver, and Anthony Mazzei of Ellwood City, his niece Marisa Mannion, and his dog and travel companion Cheech.
Authur’s family would like to send a special thank you to all of Arthur’s doctors, nurses, and his fiancé for the wonderful care that they extended to him.
There will not be a public visitation or service. Interment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.
Memorial contributions in Arthur’s name may be made to the funeral home.
