Mrs. Helen M. Montgomery, 73, of Fombell passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Passavant Retirement Community.
Mrs. Montgomery was born on November 30, 1943 in Leechburg to the late Herbert and Viola Wyrick. She is a member of the Leechburg High School class of 1961. She had worked at Reboard in Apollo, PA and later for Romar Textiles for 26 years as a seamstress. Helen also was a member of the former Knox Presbyterian Church and the Franklin Twp. Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed line dancing, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Helen is survived by her husband William S. Montgomery, Sr. whom she married on September 21, 1968, her daughters Roselyn (Rick) Fontana and Tammy (Ken) Bennett, her son William S. (Joan) Montgomery, Jr. all of Fombell, her grandchildren Cody Bennett, Dylan Bennett, Janelle Montgomery, Sam Montgomery, Brock Fontana, and her step-grandchildren Matt and Madison Segar. She is also survived by her sisters Louise Burdett of Leechburg, Alice Peak of Cincinnati, and Dora Gamble, and her brother Richard (Marlene) Wyrick all of Leechburg, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother William Wyrick.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the Service at 11:00 am in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services with Rev. Will Getz officiating. Interment will be at the St. Marks Cemetery in Fombell.
