Raymond M. Carone, Sr., 61, of Shenango Twp. passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017.
Raymond was born on March 1, 1955 in Ellwood City to the late Nick S. and Gloria R. DePaul Carone. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1973. Ray was the owner and operator of his own trucking business “Raymond Carone Trucking” for over 30 years. A devoted family man, Ray enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins, and drag racing.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Kelch Carone whom he married on August 31, 1985, his sons, Raymond (Katie) Carone, Jr. of Mississippi, Devin Carone and Darren Carone both of Shenango Twp., his grand-daughter, Ava Carone, and his brother, Nick (Robin) Carone of Perry Twp.. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Genevie Kelch of Shenango Twp. and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda (Steve) Zubkousky of Shenango Twp.. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his father-in-law, Gerald Kelch.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 pm until the time of the Blessing Service at 6:00 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. Memorial contributions in Raymond’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Social Services.
