Mrs. Betty L. Masotti, 80, of Hermitage passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2014 in the Northview Estates.
Mrs. Masotti was born on April 6, 1936 in McDonald, Pa to the late Arthur and Esther Wilson Blair. She had worked at the Ellwood City Hospital as a surgical Nurse for many years. Betty later worked as a manager at Sears Optical in Hermitage for several years. She is affiliated with the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Hermitage. Betty enjoyed playing tennis, cooking, and mainly spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Larry J. Masotti whom she married on June 30, 1979, her daughter, Marian (Craig) Owens of Ellwood City, her son, Robert (Barb) Campbell of Coudersport, Pa, her step-children, Mary Beth (Rick) Langdon of Allison Park, Lauren (Jim) Smolensky of Pittsburgh, and Chris (Elaine) Masotti of Windwood, Pa, her fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, and her brother, Robert Blair of Dover, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Robert “Doodle” Campbell in 1976, her sister, Joann Ball, and her brothers, Arthur, Elmer, and Jack Blair.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a mass of Christian burial which will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the Holy Redeemer Church. Inurnment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Masotti’s family would like to thank the Northview Estates staff and the Vita’s Hospice for the wonderful care that they extended to her. Memorial contributions in Betty’s name may be made to the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Farrell, Pa or to the charity of the donors choosing.
