Mike Wehman (Miguel), 57, of Ellwood City passed away at his home from cancer on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.
Mike loved to laugh, tell jokes, and brought a smile to all who knew him. He was an avid outdoorsman who excelled in hunting, fishing and knowledge of birds and various flora and fauna, particularly mushrooms. He had coached Little League baseball and was a past student of the martial arts discipline Pukalon.
He was a humanitarian who thought nothing of stopping whatever he was doing to help someone in need.
Mike was employed at the Ellwood City Forge, where he gave 36 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Patti Stone, his daughter Leslie Wehman of Pittsburgh, son Dustin Wehman of Ellwood City, stepdaughter Summer Kozol, of Deland, Florida, two grandchildren Landon and Isabella Wehman and step grandsons Hunter Allwine and Jaxson Kozol. He is also survived by his brothers Ted and Frank Wehman of Ellwood City and sister Kandace Masula of South Carolina.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Alvi Charles and Nellie Patterson Wehman, sisters Sherry Weigel and Loretta Marshall, and brothers Ralph Wehman and Don and Richard Pitts.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
