Marian W. Kaufman, 98

Marian  W. Kaufman, 98, of Douglasville Georgia,  formerly of Ellwood City (Wiley Hill), passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 27 2016 at the Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Lithia Springs GA.

She was born in Ellwood City on November 27 1917 to the late Earl Ellwood Duncan and the late Ida Mae Hummer Duncan.

She graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, and was a member of Berachah Chapel  and later attended Wiley Hill Baptist Church while she lived here.

Marian loved her family.  She enjoyed bowling, and belonged to the Church  Bowling League here.

Her late husband, Rev. Raymond C. Kaufman Sr., was the minister and founder of the Berachah Chapel.   They were married in 1936, and he preceded her in death on May 26 1995.

Marian is  survived by one son, Raymond C.  (and Judith) Kaufman Jr.,  with whom she lived.

Four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by a daughter, Nancy J. Bucci, on May 8 1995, and by a daughter in infancy, Barbara Ann Kaufman in 1940.

The last of her family, she was preceded also by one sister, Mae Lape.

Friends will be received from 12:00 P.M. (noon) until 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 3  in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 6th Street, Ellwood City.

Services will be conducted at TURNERS on Monday afternoon, September 3 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor James Hockenberry,  officiating.

Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, North Sewickley.
