Judy L. Cook, 66

6672Mrs. Judy L. Cook, 66, of North Sewickley Twp. passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in her residence with her loving family at her bedside following a nine year battle with ovarian cancer.

Mrs. Cook was born on July 31, 1950 in Ellwood City to the late Forest I. and Emma Henry. She had attended Riverside High School and graduated from the Beaver Falls Beauty Academy. Judy was the owner and operator of Judy Cooks Beauty Shop which was located at her residence. She also ran the beauty shop at the Blair Nursing Home for many years. She is affiliated with the United Methodist Church of Monaca and the Harmony Zelienople United Methodist Church. Judy enjoyed decorating, camping, sewing, but most of all spending time with her granddaughter Hanna.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert L. “Bob” Cook whom she married on August 25, 1967, her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy (David) Morini of Portersville, her granddaughter, Hanna Morini, her sisters, Ramona (Joe) Love of Sharon, Elsie Rombold of New Castle, and Audrey Stillwagon of Harmony, her sister-in-law, Martha Henry of Zelienople, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Irene Fields, and her brother, Richard Henry.

A private visitation and service will be held on Wednesday for the family in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services with Rev. Dave Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at the Camp Run Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Judy’s name may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
