Mrs. Marian S. “Helen” Costa, 96, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on August 14, 2016 in Laguna Woods, California, Mrs. Costa was born on December 23, 1919 in Branchton, Pa to the late Sabastian “Sam” and Josephine Buano Costa.
She had attended Lincoln High School. Marian had worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a Clerk in New York City. While living in Ellwood City she was a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. She is also a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees # 1588.
Mrs. Costa is survived by her son, Samuel Barone of Laguna Woods, CA, her three grandchildren, David Barone, Suzanne Barone, and Samuel Barone, Jr., her great grandson, Anthony Barone, and her sisters-in-law, Isabelle Costa, Theresa Costa, and Sarah Costa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her great grandson, Michael Barone, her sisters, Mary Manzo, and Florence Pietrandrea, and her brothers, Carmine, Patsy, James, Lawrence, Ralph, and Thomas Costa.
