Marjorie Ruth Jinar, 90, of Northview Estates, formerly of Argonne Blvd., passed away in her residence on Monday, July 25, 2016.
Born in Rochester, Pennsylvania on May 28, 1926, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Russell and Helen McCleary Winters. Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter L. Burg and her second husband, George Jinar.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the German Club of Ellwood City. Marjorie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marjorie is survived by her daughters and their husbands; Terri Lou and John Erjavek of Morgantown, WV, Barbara Joann and Robert Skaneski of Ellwood City, a stepson, Rick Jinar of Florida, four grandchildren and their spouses; Kari and Frank Nieto, John L. Erjavek, Michelle Skaneski and Chris Patora and Michael Robert Skaneski, two great grandchildren, Noah Patora and Holden Nieto and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husbands, Marjorie was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Winters and a sister, Betty Lou Icenhour.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 28th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
Visitation will also take place on Friday, July 29th from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Ellwood City with Pastor Angelique Bradford.
