Veronica B. Corwin, 69, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 in the Manor Care Health Services in Monroeville.
Mrs. Corwin was born on April 15, 1947 to the late Thomas V. and Mary Pearl Charon Corcoran. She had been an active member and volunteer with the former St. Agatha Catholic Church, and presently with the Holy Redeemer Parish. Veronica volunteered with the church Bazaar, and taught Bible School and CCD classes. She also enjoyed sewing and painting.
Mrs. Corwin is survived by her husband, Thaddeus Corwin, her daughters, Letitia (Craig) Kunkel of Monroeville, Yvonne Corwin of Australia, and Veronica Rose Corwin of East Liverpool, Ohio, her sons, Vince (Kristen) Corwin of Alexandria, VI, and Steven (Rayna) Corwin of North Huntington, Pa, and her grandchildren, Adenia Watson, Alaric White, Joey Corwin, and Trystan Corwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Thomas Patrick, Daniel, Gregg, and Dennis Corcoran.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Zachary Galiyas officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beaver Falls. Members of the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the church on Wednesday by 9:50 am to form an honor guard.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Corwin’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund.
