Thomas C. Remler, 76, of North Sewickley Twp. passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in the Ellwood City Hospital.
Tom was born on Sept. 23, 1939 in Ellwood City to the late Charles W. Remler and Ellen Rice Remler of North Sewickley Twp. Tom had worked at the Babcock & Wilcox steel mill in Beaver Falls from 1959 until 1986. He then worked for Angels Cleaning Service from 1989 until his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed sunbathing, going to flea markets and especially being with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Christi Venglass and her husband Bob Isabella of New Galilee, his five grandchildren, Traci (Jason) McCutcheon of New Castle, James (Shannon) Brown of Ellwood City, Justin Brown of Pittsburgh, and Cassandra and Shayne Remler, his four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kaleb, and Mason McCutcheon, and Elek Brown, and his mother, Ellen Remler.
He is also survived by his brother, Richard (Liz) Remler of Ellwood City, and his precious dog, Sable.
He was preceded in death by his father, and his wife, Carole Ann Conner Remler whom he married on Feb. 27, 1960 and passed away on April 26, 2006.
As per Tom’s wishes there will not be a public visitation or service. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.
