The Ellwood City Lions Club honored Nikol Damato as the November 2015 Student of the Month at their membership meeting Tuesday evening at the Connoquenessing Country Club.
Nikol is a senior honor student at Lincoln High School and a member of the National Honor Society, Peer Leadership and Student Council. She attends Christ Presbyterian Church and serves as the club officer for the high school March Of Dimes (Co-President/Secretary), the History Club (Vice President) and Y-Teens (President). Besides her studies, Nikol also loves to run for the high school Cross Country Team, volunteers with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and observes the Ellwood City Borough Council as a Junior Council member. The Ellwood City Lions Club presented Nikol with a Student of the Month Certificate and a $100 donation towards her future studies as a Physician Assistant.
