Riverside Haunted Hayride Starts Tonight

The Riverside annual Haunted Hayride, sponsored by Riverside Outdoor Athletic Renovation (ROAR) starts tonight from 7-9p.m. The Haunted Hayride is one of several fundraisers conducted by ROAR throughout the year. Nearly 200 volunteers come together to create a fun event for the community, and over 1100 people enjoyed the experience. This year, Roar has had the assistance of a Riverside alumni, John Guerrini. The Riverside nonprofit organization, ROAR, hosted a “Touch a Truck” event yesterday as part of their annual fundraising activities. Laura Zelch, a mother of three who attend Riverside, is one of the founders of the organization and thought a “Touch a Truck” event would be a unique and fun way to get the community, especially those with children, interested in the event. “We reached out to our contacts and put together an event we thought would appeal to the children in the community.
