RMU, CCBC Sign 13 Transfer Agreements for High-Tech Degree Programs

Pittsburgh, May 22, 2017 – Robert Morris University (RMU) and Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) are expanding their longstanding partnership to provide greater opportunities for Beaver County residents to earn four-year degrees in technology-related fields. The two institutions signed additional articulation agreements today for 13 CCBC associate degree programs that will transfer seamlessly to bachelor’s degree programs at RMU. Bernstine, Court Agree to Send Information to District Attorney Office

ELLWOOD CITY – In response to parking tickets that were issued at a legislative press conference on Thursday, May 11, state Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-New Beaver) and Ellwood City Mayor Anthony Court have jointly agreed to send documentation of the event to the Lawrence County District Attorney office, Bernstine announced today. Grove City, PA, May 8, 2017:  On May 4th, five teams of students from local Butler county high schools competed with their business ideas in the 2nd Annual Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV (MIU IV) Final Business Pitch Contest. SMC Councils Minimum Wage Survey Reveals Small Business Challenges with Governor’s Proposal

HARRISBURG, PA – In his 2017-18 budget, Governor Tom Wolf calls for a mandated increase in the minimum wage from $7.25 to $12 per hour effective on July 1 of this year, with no phase in period.
