Tomak Scores 5 Goals, Leads Wilmington Hockey To Victory

The Wilmington Co-op Hockey team upset a first place Carrick hockey team by a score of 9-8 Monday behind an impressive five goal game by Ellwood City senior Drake Tomak. The visiting Greyhounds jumped out to a 4-1 first period and 9-4 advantage after two periods before holding off Carrick for the victory. Tomak lit the lamp twice in the first period with assists from Logan Popovich (Wilmington) and Davis Phanco (Wilmington). New Wilmington Hockey Team Looking To Make Another Playoff Run This Season

Winter sports are in full swing and that means it’s hockey season.
