Yard Waste Collection Begins in Ellwood City Borough

Yard waste collection began this week and will continue until the end of November, according to the Borough’s Facebook page. Circled days show yard waste collection, shaded days show recycling collection. Green borough yard waste bins are for residents to dispose of their simple yard waste. Yard waste bins are available for purchase for $62.00 and can be purchased at the borough utility office or by calling 724-758-5576. Borough Announces Yard Waste Collection Schedule

City residents are well into the new trash removal system. Ellwood City Borough Council awarded the bid for collection of refuse, recycling, and yard waste to Valley Waste during an April 19 meeting, with that contract came added opportunities to get rid of yard waste. Instead of nine yard waste removal days, residents will be able to get rid of yard waste twice a month from April 1 to November 30. Next Ellwood City Yard Waste Pick-Up Is Week Of June 21

According to information made available the borough offices, the next scheduled yard waste pick-up for borough residents will be the week of June 21, 2021. The borough’s new contract with Valley Waste starts this summer. A full schedule will be provided in the near future. REMINDER: Next Borough Yard Waste Pick-Up May 17

According to information made available by the Borough, the next scheduled yard waste pick-up for Ellwood City residents will be the week of May 17, 2021. The borough’s new contract with Valley Waste starts June 1, 2021 that introduces a bi-weekly yard waste pick up schedule. The full schedule will be provided in the near future. The Ellwood City Borough has announced pickup dates for the borough issued yard waste bin collections. Yard waste bins are collected on specified weeks throughout the calendar years. Dates are also provided on borough utility bills. Borough Yard Waste Pickup Schedule Change

The Borough of Ellwood City has advised its residents that the borough yard waste pickup scheduled for the week of October 28th has been moved to the week of December 9th. However, the remaining pickups remain the same. The remaining weeks are October 14, November 11 and 25, and now December 9.
