The Lawrence County Conservation District and the Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department are partnering on a workshop about about rain barrels, stormwater management, backyard composting, rain gardens and more! Backyard Composting & Rain Barrel Workshop Planned

The Lawrence County Conservation District and the Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department are partnering to offer another one of their popular workshops about backyard composting and stormwater management. “Our last compost/rain barrel workshop was huge success with almost 40 registrants,” says Director Jerry P. Backyard Composting & Rain Barrel Workshop Planned

The Lawrence County Conservation District and the Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department are partnering on a workshop about backyard composting and stormwater management. The class is set for Tuesday evening, November 16, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  It will be held at the Albert P. Gettings Annex (the former church) across the street from the Lawrence County Courthouse.  Attendees can enter through the doors facing the courthouse on Milton Street.
