Ellwood City Earth Day Event Offers Art & Photography Show, Trashion Show

The annual Lawrence County Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 22rd at Ewing Park, Ellwood City from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The event will offer an eARTh Day Art and Photography Show. Submit an art piece or photo to convey what you love about the earth! Artwork can be created from any medium such as clay, canvas, wood, recycled materials, etc. Photos should be placed on sturdy backing. Participants can sign up by April 18 by visiting the Lawrence County Conservation District Facebook page or by contacting Jillian Court at ecce1892@gmail.com to fill out the form….

PHOTOS: Annual Earth Day Festivities Ewing Park

Ellwood City Community Enrichment hosted Lawrence County’s annual Earth Day celebration on Saturday April 21 at Ewing Park. There was food, vendors, activities, local entertainment, education exhibits and a horse-drawn carriage rides along with a special presentation by Wild World Animals. There was a second annual Trashion Show “From Trash to Fashion,” that featured contestants in costumes using recycled goods. From Trash to Fashion: Earth Day Annual ‘Trashion Show’

Don’t miss out on the 2nd Annual Trashion Show which will be held during Lawrence County’s Earth Day Celebration at 11:00am in Ewing Park, Ellwood City. PHOTOS: Ellwood City Celebrates Earth Day

From exotic animal encounters to a trashion-fashion show, live performances, Eco-friendly vendors, and much more – The Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce put together an Earth Day celebration to remember. While the annual event gets bigger every year, their newest addition to the celebration is the Trashion Show. With over half a dozen local competitors, the Ewing stage was filled with fashionable trash outfits crafted completely out of recyclable materials.
