PHOTOS: Lincoln Class Of 1954 Celebrates 71st Reunion

The Lincoln Class of 1954 First Luncheon 71st Reunion was held on Saturday, July 5th at Shakespeare’s Restaurant and Pub. Arrivals were greeted by chairmen Ilene Gardner and Pudue LaCava and received name tags from Judy Portugallo. Guests were seated at tables decorated in red, white and blue and place settings were marked with bags of goodies provided by Gardner. Festivities began with a welcome from Gardner acknowledging Chairman John Tino’s organizing and efforts and was unable to attend due to conflicts in schedules. Lincoln High School Class of 1964 Reunion Nearing

The 60th class reunion of the LHS Class of 1964 is getting closer. The reunion will start at 5:00 p.m. at the Connoquenessing Country Club on August 24, 2024. It will be a great time to catch up with “OLD” friends and maybe make some new ones. Although a ‘sit down’ dinner is not planned, there will be plenty of food to enjoy. There will also be a cash bar. Lincoln High School Class of 1954 Holds 70th Renuion

The LHS Class of 1954 held their last formal class reunion on Saturday, June 29 at the Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church of Ellwood City. Arrivals were greeted by the committee John Tino, Ilene Gardner and Pudue La Cava. Registration was conducted by the honorary class members, Judy Portugallo and Jackie Perno. La Cava presented each person with a very much needed name tag, especially the seniors. Gardner photographed each classmate and their guest at a Holiday mural made by her son Jeff. When the members of the Lincoln High School Class of 1969 received their diplomas, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walk on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission and the Woodstock festival rocked a farm in upstate New York for three days. Now, fifty-five years later the class is getting back together with a planned class reunion. It has been 35 years! The Lincoln High School Class of 1989 will be getting together for an informal class reunion later this month. Classmates will gather starting at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29th at The Time Brew Pub located at 600 Mount Vernon Drive. When the members of the Lincoln High School Class of 1968 received their diplomas, The Jackson 5’s, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Aretha Franklin were at the top of the music charts. The Lincoln High School Class of 1978 enjoyed its 45th Class Reunion on Saturday, July 22nd at the Wurtemburg/Perry Fire Department. Sixty classmates and 30 guests celebrated the reunion celebration. A buffet dinner and dessert was provided along with a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese Auction.
