Mayor Court Proclaims Joseph Connor Roth Day

Ellwood City Mayor Anthony J. Court proclaimed April 4, 2024 as Joseph Connor Roth day in the Borough of Ellwood City. Roth was recognized as being the all-time leading scorer in Ellwood City Boys’ Basketball with 2,109 points in his career. He was a four year starter and helped Ellwood City win the WPIAL Class-3A title in the 2020-21 season. Jessie Swogger Berkebile Day Declared In Ellwood City

Mayor Anthony J. Court proclaimed Thursday, September 28, 2023 to be “Jessie Swogger Berkebile Day” in the Borough of Ellwood City. Jessie was presented with a proclamation on her 81st birthday celebration. She was the first full-time woman police officer in the Borough of Ellwood City. Mayor Anthony J. Court presented a proclamation to Eagle Scout Matthew Gebhardt, Jr. on Friday, August 18th. Matthew was found worthy of the rank of Eagle Scout and was honored. The Eagle Scout rank represents the highest advancement in scouting fulfilling requirements in the areas of leadership, service, and outdoor skills. Divine Grace Parish Food Bank Receives Proclamation

Mayor Anthony J. Court proudly presented a proclamation to Divine Grace Ministerium Social Services and Food Bank on Wednesday, June 14th. Mayor Court Presents Yellow Ribbon Girls With Proclamation

Mayor Anthony J. Court presented the Yellow Ribbons Girls with a proclamation recognizing 20 years of commitment and dedication to our troops. Yellow Ribbon Girls is a faith based group of local volunteers.
