Ellwood Resident Receives Narcan to Reverse Overdose According to the police report, on September 26, police and medics were called to an Ellwood residence after receiving a call from a concerned wife that her husband was unconscious and unresponsive due to a heroin overdose. Upon arrival, medics administered Narcan, a drug that reverses the affects of opiate overdoses almost immediately.
