Milling And Paving Lawrence Avenue To Begin On Monday

As part of the PennDOT SR351 project, Folino Construction will start milling and paving Lawrence Avenue and 5th Street on Monday, October 28, 2024. The topcoat will also be applied to Crescent Avenue in the coming days. Due to this project, parking on Lawrence Avenue and 5th Street will be prohibited for two weeks starting on Monday, October 28, 2024. “I appreciate your cooperation in advance,” says Kevin Swogger, Borough Manager. A roadway improvement project on Route 351 (Crescent Avenue) between Second Street and Fourth Street was completed earlier this summer.

TRAVEL ADVISORY: PA Turnpike Ramp Closures Scheduled at Beaver Valley Exit 13 Interchange

HOMEWOOD – The Pennsylvania Turnpike (PA Turnpike) advises motorists that westbound on and off-ramps will be closed at the Beaver Valley Interchange (Exit 13) beginning Sunday, September 8th at 6 p.m. until Friday September 13th at 6:00 a.m. This closure allows crews working on the Beaver Valley Bridge Replacement Project to safely tie-in temporary ramps to allow for the construction of the final ramp configuration for the new interchange at PA Route 18 (Big Beaver Boulevard). People in the area will see some piers and beams are in place as the project continues into its next stage. The project is currently in stage four of the eight project stages. Turnpike travel lanes have been shifted southward to accommodate construction activities for the new bridge and roadway alignment. Route 65 Culvert Replacement Begins Monday in North Sewickley

PennDOT has announced culvert replacement work requiring a long-term closure of a portion of Route 65 (Mercer Road) in North Sewickley Township, Beaver County will begin Monday, June 10 weather permitting. Culvert replacement work will begin at 8:00 a.m. Monday on Route 65 between Bologne Valley Road and Oakland Drive. Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that high school students from around the state are invited to participate in the seventh annual PennDOT Innovations Challenge, which encourages students to use their problem-solving, creative and strategic-thinking abilities to solve real-world transportation challenges in a competition among their peers.
