US 422 Drilling Starts Wednesday in Lawrence County

Pittsburgh – PennDOT District 11 is announcing drilling operations US 422 (New Butler Road) in Shenango and Slippery Rock townships, Lawrence County will begin Wednesday, April 2 weather permitting. Lane restrictions will occur in various locations on US 422 between Willowbrook Road and Route 19 (Perry Highway) weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late April. Country Club Bridge Replacement Project To Begin October 2025

The Route 65 Country Club Bridge Replacement project over Connoquenessing Creek will begin in October 2025 in North Sewickley and Franklin Townships, Beaver County. Improvements include removal of the existing poor condition three-span non-composite steel multigirder structure built in 1976, construction of a two-span steel plate girder bridge using Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) techniques, and full depth pavement reconstruction along approximately 850 feet of SR 65 and 180 feet of SR 1006 (Mercer Road). Paving Set To Begin On Lawrence Avenue

As part of the ongoing PennDOT SR351 project, construction crews will start base repairs on Lawrence Avenue beginning Wednesday night and continue repairs through Friday night. According to borough manager Kevin Swogger, road work will be done between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Lawrence Avenue is due to expect paving this week. Next week the milling and paving will be starting on 5th Street for two night and then finishing up the Crescent Avenue and 4th Street section. Milling And Paving Lawrence Avenue To Begin On Monday

As part of the PennDOT SR351 project, Folino Construction will start milling and paving Lawrence Avenue and 5th Street on Monday, October 28, 2024. The topcoat will also be applied to Crescent Avenue in the coming days. Due to this project, parking on Lawrence Avenue and 5th Street will be prohibited for two weeks starting on Monday, October 28, 2024. “I appreciate your cooperation in advance,” says Kevin Swogger, Borough Manager.
