Route 488 Portersville Road Drainage Improvement Work Begins Thursday in Perry Township

Pittsburgh – PennDOT is announcing drainage improvement work on Route 488 (Portersville Road) in Perry Township, Lawrence County, will begin Thursday, November 14 weather permitting. Cross pipe replacement and inlet installation work will occur on Route 488 between Meadow Land Avenue and Hickernell Road weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, November 22. Paving Set To Begin On Lawrence Avenue

As part of the ongoing PennDOT SR351 project, construction crews will start base repairs on Lawrence Avenue beginning Wednesday night and continue repairs through Friday night. According to borough manager Kevin Swogger, road work will be done between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Lawrence Avenue is due to expect paving this week. Next week the milling and paving will be starting on 5th Street for two night and then finishing up the Crescent Avenue and 4th Street section. Milling And Paving Lawrence Avenue To Begin On Monday

As part of the PennDOT SR351 project, Folino Construction will start milling and paving Lawrence Avenue and 5th Street on Monday, October 28, 2024. The topcoat will also be applied to Crescent Avenue in the coming days. Due to this project, parking on Lawrence Avenue and 5th Street will be prohibited for two weeks starting on Monday, October 28, 2024. “I appreciate your cooperation in advance,” says Kevin Swogger, Borough Manager. A roadway improvement project on Route 351 (Crescent Avenue) between Second Street and Fourth Street was completed earlier this summer.

TRAVEL ADVISORY: PA Turnpike Ramp Closures Scheduled at Beaver Valley Exit 13 Interchange

People in the area will see some piers and beams are in place as the project continues into its next stage. The project is currently in stage four of the eight project stages. PennDOT has announced culvert replacement work requiring a long-term closure of a portion of Route 65 (Mercer Road) in North Sewickley Township, Beaver County will begin Monday, June 10 weather permitting.
